What Is a Complete Skateboard?

A complete skateboard is a skateboard that comes pre-built. All of the parts on a complete skateboard are carefully chosen with a certain concept in mind that will allow you to start learning and having fun as soon as you take it out of the box!

Complete skateboards are great for all of the beginners out there looking to start skating and don't want spend too much money buying all the parts separately. However, there are some brands that build complete setups which are suitable for experienced riders making them a cheap alternative.

How Do I Choose My Complete Skateboard?

There is a couple of things that you should take into consideration when buying a complete skateboard. Some are more important than others but the main factors are: The size and the hardness of the wheels.

It is important to choose a skateboard that will suit you size wise. Generally speaking, the boards size should depend on the size of your shoes. If you have small shoe size, chances are that a smaller skateboard might suit you better where as if you have a bigger shoe size, you should probably go for a larger size deck. However, that does not work for everyone and most of the time the skateboard size is based on the rider's preference.

Wheel hardness is something that will highly affect your skating experience. If you are mainly skating street, it would be beneficial for you to go with softer wheels as they will provide you with softer landings and a more enjoyable skating experience. However, if you are going to be mainly skating at your local skate park where the ground is smooth, it might be a better option to go with wheels that are harder.
