What Is Longboarding?

Long-boarding is a form of extreme/action sport that was inspired by the surfers. It is very similar to skateboarding in some ways however, they are miles apart at the same time. A long-board is made up of a wooden deck, longer and wider than skateboards. Long-boards also feature much larger and softer wheels which allow riders to feel more comfortable cruising or bombing down the hills!

Long-board's main focus is high speed and most long-boarding competitions are about hitting top speeds when bombing down the hill. However, they do also feature more trick orientated competitions for all the freestyle riders out there.

Not only is long-boarding a lot of fun and a good way to get your dose of adrenaline.. It is also a very handy way of transportation!
